Job Title: Lean Specialist

Location: Fresno, CA

• Must reside in commutable distance of Fresno, CA. (This is an Onsite role, Remote & Hybrid work is not available.)

Must have Lean Manufacturing / (CI) Continuous Improvement / Six Sigma background.

Prior experience in Industrial Manufacturing Operations (Pumps, Valves, Mechanical Equipment, etc. background is preferred)

Experience in Industrial Steel Manufacturing, Production & Fabrication, Machining, Welding, etc. is required for this position.

Under the general direction of the Operations Manager, Schedule and coordinate all Lean Manufacturing events (Process Improvement Projects) and Lean training with assistance on reporting results to management.

Essential Job Functions

• Formulate and execute process improvement projects throughout the business
• Ensure results are reported and sustain these results through the work force
• Create learning resources and develop employees on lean concepts and tools
• Plans and oversees layout of equipment, office, and production facilities
• Conducts studies in operations to maximize work flow and utilization
• Ensures facility efficiency and workplace safety

Education and Experience

• HS Diploma or GED (required)
• Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) from a four-year university in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering (preferred)
• Microsoft Excel use on an advanced level
• A minimum of 3 years related experience is required for this position.
