Location: Midland, Tx (Relocation Assistance Available)
- Must reside in commutable distance of Midland, Tx. (This is an Onsite role, Remote & Hybrid work is not available.)
A company with over 30 years in Gas Processing & Treating Plant Sales, Manufacturing, Construction and Operation is hiring a Highly Experienced Financial Analyst.
The Financial Analyst is responsible for ensuring a complete and accurate picture of
project financials.
Essential Job Functions
- Job cost reports
- Compile and send out weekly report on job costs.
- Participate in job cost analysis with engineering group.
- Follow up with any inconsistencies and work with engineering, procurement and accounting to ensure accuracy of future reports.
- Assist project managers in the creation of timely and accurate budgets.
- Estimating
- Assist the development team by estimating the cost of gas processing equipment.
- Operations cost reports
- Compile and send out operations cost reports for our landfill gas operations team.
- Integrate our inhouse ERP system (Atlas) with job cost reports to ensure seamless cost accounting.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (Competencies)
- Financial background a plus, knowledge of ERP systems a plus.
- Strong organizational skills as well as ability to compare and refine data from multiple accounting and ERP systems.
- Team focused mentality – role involves presenting to and working with other member of the team to ensure a complete and accurate picture of project financials
- Work is largely sedentary and generally performed indoors.
- Lift and carry up to 15 lbs. occasionally.
- Repetitious hand and finger dexterity to communicate via email
- Extensive visual and auditory observation during work.
- Ability to multi-task and accomplish tasks despite interruptions.
- Ability to create and maintain accurate, timely and complete records and reports.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree Required,
- Background in data analysis preferred.
