Job Title: Inventory Manager
Location: Midland, Tx
- Must reside in commutable distance of Midland, Tx. (This is an Onsite role, Remote & Hybrid work is not available.)
Required:
- 3-5 years’ experience with Inventory Management
- Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word
- Oil & Gas Industry background
Preferred (but not required):
- Storage, handling, inspection, and reporting of OCTG (oil country tubular goods) materials, designed specifically for the oil and gas industry.
- TDS (Tubular Data Systems) Inventory System
- Bachelor of Science degree in Business or Engineering
The company is a full service pipe and pipe related services provider located in the heart of the Permian Basin. We provide all matter of pipe sales, services and rental.
Specialties: EMI Inspection, VTI/FLD Inspection, Hydrotesting, Tubing Reclamation, API Threading, Storage, and OD Brush & Spray
The Inventory Manager is responsible for safely executing day to day operations while maintaining company core values for our culture and building a Team that is conducive to a productive work environment. Scheduling a monthly (or more) review meeting with the General Manager and establishing metrics to achieve 98% or greater accuracy of TDS vs. Physical inventory.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Determine appropriate equipment and staffing levels to manage inventory, or store materials.
- Manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, controlling inventory, warehousing, or receiving.
- Define performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of inventory factors, such as product cost or quality.
- Implement new or improved inventory processes to improve efficiency or performance.
- Reviews, monitors, and audits the daily perpetual inventory and researches and reconciles TDS to physical inventories through a cycle count and audit process.
- Supervises trains, motivates, and is responsible for day to day activities of staff and inventory associates. Responsible for corrective actions, reviews, evaluations, and moral of staff.
- Oversees administrative functions as required to support all Warehouse functions, as well as the liaison between other departments and production centers.
