1st Shift CNC Machinist (Horizontal Boring Mill)

Experienced CNC Horizontal Boring Mill Operator is needed to join our client’s production line in Tulsa, OK. This is a great opportunity for an individual to gain additional experience with a well-established but growing manufacturing facility.

Schedule: 5:00am – 3:30pm with OT available when needed.

Pay Rate: $18.00 – $25.10 per hour.

1 Opening

Job Duties:

  • Under minimal direction of a supervisor, responsible for quality parts produced on various machines such as but not limited to CNC boring mill machines.
  • Responsible for set-up, operation and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements holding close tolerances and maximum efficiencies.
  • Studies and interprets drawings, manuals, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and setup requirements.
  • Measures and marks dimensions and reference points on material or work pieces as a guide for machining.
  • Detects equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjusts machine, within capabilities, controls or control media as required to ensure quality of production. Reports all machine malfunctions to immediate supervisor.
  • Assists in the solution of complex plant operating problems and/or cost reduction projects.
  • Operates a forklift and lifting devices for movement of parts.
  • Communicates with supervisor, engineers, production control, quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
  • Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly and perform basic preventative maintenance functions.
  • Responsible for the enforcement of all Company Health, Safety and Environmental rules.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years’ experience operating CNC HBM Machinist in a heavy manufacturing environment.
  • Fanuc Control Experience
  • Knowledge of M&G codes
  • Be able to create your own set-up
  • Advanced knowledge of reading drawings and specifications with an advanced understanding of geometric tolerancing and dimensions.
  • Must possess basic math skills to include but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry and algebra for the purpose of calculating material fabrication

Schedule: 4:00pm -4:00am with $2.50/hour shift differential for night shift.

Pay Rate: $21.30-$24.96/hour

An experienced CNC Machinist Mazak Integrex Operator for night shift is needed to join our client’s production line in Tulsa, OK. . This is a great opportunity for an individual to gain additional experience with a well-established but growing manufacturing facility.

Schedule: 4:00pm – 4:00am with a $2.50/hour shift differential for night shift.

Pay Rate: $27.50 – $32.50 per hour.

Night Shift Manual Machinist (Crankshaft Grinder)

Manual Machinist Night Shift Operator, Crankshaft Grinder is needed for our client’s production line in Tulsa, OK. This is a great opportunity for an individual to gain additional experience with a well-established but growing manufacturing facility.

Shift: 4:00pm – 4:00pm with a $2.50/hour shift differential for night shift.

Pay Rate: $27.59 – $30.77 per hour.

Job Duties:

  • Sets up and operates conventional, special purpose and machining centers to fabricate metallic parts by performing the following duties.
  • Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
  • Measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points on material or workpiece as guides for subsequent machining.
  • Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on lathe machines, grinders, and shapers.
  • Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media.
  • Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls as required.
  • Performs general machining, OD / ID turning, and boring with minor thread work.
  • Verifies dimensions and conformance of finished workpiece to specifications.
  • Sets up and operates machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data.
  • Installs machined replacement parts in mechanisms, machines, and equipment, and tests operation of unit to ensure functionality and performance.
  • Develops specifications from general description and draws sketch of part or product to be fabricated.
  • Confers with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED and Two to four years related experience and/or training.
  • Crankshaft grinder, grinding to final requirement preferred.
  • CNC experience preferred.

Mathematical Skills

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Night Shift CNC Lathe & Mill Machinist

The Machinist to join the valve and plunger production line in Tulsa, OK. This is a great opportunity for an individual to gain additional experience with a well-established but growing manufacturing facility.

Our Machinists are responsible for the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of CNC Machines such as but not limited to lathes and milling machines. Overtime may be required to meet production needs.

Shift: 4:00pm – 4:00am with a $2.50/hour shift differential added to base pay for night shift.

Pay Range: $23.37 – $28.37

  • Advanced knowledge of reading drawings and specifications with an advanced understanding of geometric tolerancing and dimensions.
  • Must possess basic math skills to include but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry and algebra for the purpose of calculating material fabrication
  • Knowledge and application of precision measuring instruments and the application of such instruments, to include but not limited to calipers, ID & OD micrometers, depth gages, indicators and scales.
  • Vo-Tech Certificate Preferred
  • Knowledge of various tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, and inserts used on various machines.
