Job Title: Inventory Management / Operations

Location: St Louis, MO

  • Must reside in commutable distance of St Louis, MO. (This is an Onsite role, Remote & Hybrid work is not available.)


  • 3 years’ experience with Inventory Management
  • Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word

Preferred (but not required):

  • Oil & Gas Industry experience
  • Storage, handling, inspection, and reporting of OCTG (oil country tubular goods) materials, designed specifically for the oil and gas industry.
  • TDS (Tubular Data Systems) Inventory System
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business or Engineering

The Inventory Manager is responsible for safely executing day to day operations while maintaining company core values for our culture and building a Team that is conducive to a productive work environment. Establishing metrics to achieve high degree accuracy of Physical inventory.


  • Track all outstanding pipe purchase orders including updates to ETA, footage / joints shipped, PO changes
  • Track all outstanding pipe sales orders with detail by required date(s) and quantity needed
  • Compare on the ground and incoming pipe volumes vs. sales to identify availability for new orders or issues meeting existing order timing / footage
  • Track pipe on the ground / incoming to various processing yards, schedule for heat treating/threading/repairs/other work, daily counts of pipe available to ship to customers
  • Create regular reporting on results of data tracked to share with others at the company
  • Running ad-hoc analyses as needed to determine inventory availability on items
  • Communicate daily / as needed with processing yards to get feedback on processing, receipt of pipe, new work orders, processing prioritization
  • Identify data issues in the Sage accounting system so they can be fixed

Job Requirements:

  • College experience (2- or 4-year degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working within inventory management / company operations, preferably at a small to mid-sized industrial company
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
  • Experience using an accounting system (Sage experience preferred)
  • Ability to handle multiple ongoing tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
