Job Title: Sales and Business Development Director

Location: Boston, MA or Jersey City, NJ

• Must reside in commutable distance of either Boston or Jersey City (Flexible / Hybrid Work Arrangements – we collaborate in the office on Tuesday & Wednesday)
• Travel is required

Requirements for this career opportunity:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Sales and Marketing
• Experience in prospecting, consulting, and sales
• Proficient with Salesforce
• Strong background in consulting and / or consulting sales
• Background in regulatory reporting

The Sales & Business Development Director will oversee all sales and business development in the Americas for the Company’s Consulting Solutions.

This incumbent will act as a key leader in driving efforts to build this business in the Americas and ensure on-target achievement for Sales and Revenue goals as outlined in the annual Sales Plan.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act as a strategic leader in prospecting, developing, and closing out new Consulting Business engagements with key customers in the Americas
• Work closely with Relationship Management and other cross functional teams to identify new opportunities, and lead efforts to expand business across various client segments
• Deliver accurate and regular pipeline updates, activity and forecasts to Sales Management while keeping Salesforce.com updated
• Partner with Sales Management team to meet the sales plan and applicable sales targets
• Collaborate with Marketing to identify industry events to participate in or host in assigned territory

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 10 years of related experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred with Masters or equivalent experience

• Strong background in consulting and/or consulting sales
• Background in regulatory reporting
