Job Title: Senior Project Manager

  • Project Management Experience in the Natural Gas Industry is Required.
  • Project Management Experience with EPC Programs and Midstream / RNG Facilities
    • Oil & Gas EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction)
    • Renewable natural gas (RNG)
  • Design, engineering, manufacturing & installation of natural gas treatment facilities in conventional and renewable gas industry experience.

Location: Midland, Tx (Relocation Assistance Available)

  • Must reside in commutable distance of Midland, Tx. (This is an Onsite role, Remote & Hybrid work is not available.)

Prior experience in Industrial Manufacturing Operations (Piping and Instrumentation, Vessel, Tanks, Heat Exchangers, Pumps, Valves, Mechanical Equipment, etc. background is preferred)

Machining (CNC & Manual), Fabrication (Welding, Metal Cutting, Metal Forming) experience is preferred.

A company with over 30 years in Gas Processing & Treating Plant Sales, Manufacturing, Construction and Operation is hiring a Highly Experienced Senior Project Manager.

The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for program development, management, overall execution and financial responsibility for EPC landfill gas projects. Oversee establishment of plants and facilities including supervising key project personnel within project management and daily monitoring of activities and deliverables. Additionally, the Senior Project Manager will be the primary contact point and interface for the client PMO. Support ongoing projects and perform monthly project reviews. Identify areas of need for upcoming project work.

Essential Job Functions

  • Attend weekly managers’ meetings and reports on department successes and problem areas; projecting business needs to maintain consistent level of work.
  • Oversee and directs proper staffing levels for job assignments to include personnel development and recommendations on personnel placement.
  • Review, maintain and adjust projects budget.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules to a Level-4 degree of detail.
  • Deliver projects on-time, in-budget and to specification.
  • Assist with the creation of standards and templates to further support the development and maturization of the PMO.
  • Contribute and implement methodologies to continue toward long term goals.
  • Set and manage performance targets for business plans and projects.
  • Contribute to the development of the businesses to deliver stable products and processes.
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with existing clients and build new client relationships.
  • Understanding of P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams)
  • Understanding of all types of processing equipment, including absorption / distillation towers, pumps, exchangers, piping systems, control valves, relief valves, filters, etc.
  • Maintain compliance with ASME VII, B31.3, API, and other industry standards
  • Other duties as assigned by the company president.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (Competencies)

  • Engineering background a plus, Project scheduling software (MS Project,
  • Primavera) required
  • Tacit knowledge of accounting standards and practices, and ability to manage,
  • report, and direct accordingly.
  • Must be able to confidently and eloquently speak and write to both the
  • technical (engineering) and lay (client).
  • Experience managing $10 million to $100 million projects
  • Work is generally performed indoors.
  • Repetitiously lift and carry 20 lbs. plus, regularly.
  • Repetitious hand and finger dexterity to communicate via email and cellphone;
  • basic (++) computer experience.
  • Extensive visual and auditory observation during work.
  • Write and read job-related notes via email, etc. (Detail-oriented; ability to keep project minutes, meeting notes, action items lists, etc.)
  • Ability to work long shifts. (12-Hr when in field)
  • Knowledge of occupational hazards and necessary safety precautions and ability to train and supervise compliance of others.
  • Ability to multi-task and accomplish tasks despite interruptions.
  • Ability to create and maintain accurate, timely and complete records and reports.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Ability to read and write English.
  • Possess strong problem solving skills (containment and counter-measure).
  • Possess strong experience of supply chain operations (including expediting, lead-time reduction, inventory management, packaging and shipping).
  • Manufacturing Engineering (including work flow, Standard Operations, plant layout, waste elimination, continuous improvement, engineering change control).
  • Communication, influencing, negotiating and assertiveness.
  • Broad engineering technical skills and knowledge of implementation across a wide range of industries.
  • Decision making, sound business judgment.
  • Quality management/delivering customer requirements.
  • Project management.
  • Report writing and presentation skills.
  • Customer Interface Uphold company’s culture through all phone calls, emails, and meetings.
  • Participate in design review, PHA, and regular schedule updates
  • Mentoring/Mentee-ing Regularly participate in being mentored as well as mentoring others at all possible opportunities.

Education and Experience

  • 10+ Years Relevant Project Management Experience with EPC Programs and Midstream / RNG Facilities
  • PMP Certification a plus
  • Engineering background / degree a plus
